Correction of the documents which were registered erroneously
If erroneously registered in the Land Registry, application should be forwarded according to Section 35 of the Registration of Documents Act, No.23 of 1927 for the correction of that error.
The same request should be forwarded by the relevant parties in writing to the relevant land registrar.
Documents to be forwarded
Request letter to make necessary corrections
Original copy of the deed which is registered erroneously (after checking, the original copy will be retuned)
Certified copies of the folios which the relevant deed is registered.
After making relevant corrections, it will be informed to the applicant.
