Searching Documents
- To Check folios relevant to a land can be done from the Land Registry situated in the area in which the said land located.
- To check the duplicate of a deed and obtaining certified copies can be done from the Land Registry which the Notary Public handing over the duplicates.
Methodology for applying
Notary Public or his authorized person.
Searching Application
Completed prescribed printed application should be forwarded
- Application form of checking land registers A33(A)
- Application form of checking deeds and duplicates A33(B)
- Application should be signed by the Notary Public and his seal should be placed .
- If a representative submit the application, a letter of delegation of authority should be forwarded.
Fees
- Searching fees should be paid in cash
- Fees for one land is Rs.600.00
